A little about myself
and 4 Gear
I have been rebuilding GM 4 speeds since 1967. I am an Army trained Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, owned
a Speed Shop in the Chicago Area in the late 60's and early 70's, and have been an avid Drag Racer since 1956, setting three
world records and an Illinois State Points Champion in the process. 4 Gear Trans Co has been a serious hobby of mine since
1976. I have repaired or built for sale; Muncies, T10's and Super T10's for customers throughout the States, Hawaii, Canada,
Europe, Austrailia, New Zealand and etc.
I still have a few NOS (New Old Stock) gears and parts left over from
the speed shop days and we have top quality aftermarket parts and gears. We supply these parts to Trans Shops, Rebuilders
and Do-it-Yourself customers. We also sell 4 Speed Rebuild Kits that I personally package using the same parts that I use
on customer transmissions.

Specials Page. We do Buy-Outs from different sources which provide us with over-stocks or specialty items. These are listed
on the Special Page until the item or stock is gone. We try to update this page daily, so if you see something your interested
